Pet Boarding
We take care of your pets as if they were our own! Our animal-loving trained staff is dedicated to keeping your pet safe and comfortable, while giving them the attention and love you know they want. Ear scratches and tummy rubs are included!

Rooms
Our rooms are all indoor and temperature controlled. Each guest has a private space with their own water and comfy bedding. Our staff keeps guest rooms clean and healthy with veterinary grade cleaning.
Yards
We have 5 outdoor play yards that feature amazing K9 grass for cleaner and safer play. An indoor play room is also available for rainy days. All overnight guests get multiple play times throughout the day, in either group or private settings.
Pick-Up and Drop Off
Barking Ranch is open seven days-a-week to make your drop-off and pick-up times most convenient for boarding. We are located in Brenham, right next door to our partner veterinarians, Brenham Veterinary Hospital.

Required Vaccines:
RV (Rabies), DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), LV (Leptospirosis), CIV (Bivalent Canine Influenza): annually
BV (Bordetella): semi-annually
Hours: Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm M-F, 8:00 am to Noon SAT, and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm SUN. If your pet requires any vaccines from the hospital next door, they may not be dropped off on a Sunday.
Feeding: We strongly recommend that you bring your dog’s diet with them to board. Your food can be bagged out by portion, and we will label and feed accordingly. We do offer Science Diet adult dog food. You may also send any treats with them to give during their stay.
Activity: Dogs that are staying overnight have daycare included. All overnight guests get multiple play times throughout the day, in either group or private settings. Ask client services about which play setting is right for your dog.
Going Home: After pick-up, many guests will be very tired. Their vacation included tons of playtime, and for some dogs not used to an active lifestyle, they may appear worn out and sleepy. If you ever have any questions after picking up, just call our front desk and we can help you!
